le sigh. the rich get richer
http://www.baseballslant.com/forums/...it-oak-ii.html8-7-7 middle reliever is not that good. Brown is a nice looking prospect but the Pirates end is lacking the high quality player needed
Breechen is not an 8-7-7 reliever and Escobar isn't all that great.
Anyway, there's been changes in the TC so if you can hold off on the complaining in every trade thread it would be cool.
If only Maldonado didn't get hurt.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!
The 2074 MSL NL Gold Glove Recipient at Third Base.
Breechen isnt the 8-7-7 reliever, the 8-7-7 reliever is the 8-7-7 reliever.
Escobar isn't that great? That's hilarious as he's probably one of the better starting pitchers in the game. The trade council even called him a "top of the rotation starter" in the vetoed trade threads.
The bare bones point of this is that it was Breechen for Escobar.
That's a fucking joke...especially when my developed starting pitcher I added to my Pitt-Oakland trade, Gallarado, was a 9-9-7 talent at the time, young, and obviously developed. Gallarado was considered "good". Apparently Breechen is the elite impact/talent prospect that neither Brown, two first round picks, Vern fucking Stephens, Jaime Mauzy, AND Gallarado were.
I know how much interest Breechen had...next to nothing. Colorado basically gave a 2.5 overall pitcher and a ton of shit for a 3.5 ace thats young and signed for cheap.
You know why I know the other players involved in the trade are next to nothing because
Let's see what criteria this trade fits...hmmm?:8-7-7 middle reliever is not that good
We'll say 4 1/2 out of 8.1) Trade council members favor trades they are involved in
2) Trade council members will veto your trade if they want the player you're trading for
3) "Don't fix what is broken" makes no sense at all
4) Development of players only is a factor when it isnt a detriment to a TC member
5) Trade council members can get younger, better, and richer in their trades
6) Players at certain positions are rare and in high demand only when the trade council deems
7) Age doesnt seem to be a factor at all in TC trades
8) The desire of a team to unload players for DIRT cheap to members of the TC will be welcomed with open arms, especially if they post a thread about it in Cyan.
What's hilarious about all of this is that I private messaged this trade would happen before I even saw it to Seattle.
Just admit already that you guys fucked me on that trade just to fuck me. If you admit it, I will leave. I will leave and you never will hear from me again.
i wish your deal was on the table but it wasn't... i got what i could

Sabu, you're wasting evrybody's time with unnecessary drama over a fantasy game.
what do you hope to accomplish with this ranting?
We go back and pass your vetoed trades? Impossible
we make changes to the TC? Already done.
so you want your ego stroked.
CJ still got a 8-7-7 reliever! Yay for all.
It doesn't matter! It doesn't F***ing matter. Some people will always win and some People will always lose. If you enjoy trying then stick with it. No matter how hard people try there will always be someone who feels as if they are getting the shaft. This goes for no one in particular but includes everyone. There are two options, you can enjoy the ride and deal with the inconsistencies from time to time, yet allow the league to continue because the person running the league isn't being hassled. Or you can stop any progress and try and make it fold up shop.
I'm a freaking moron. I don't have the smarts to run a successful franchise, I know this. But I have fun trying. Just leave the rich to continue to get richer because you have no say in this. This is the Internet, everyone is infoulable and no one makes mistakes.
Now let's just close this thread and move the F*** along.
What Zod is saying... GROUP HUG!
