    Orioles Baltimore Block

Baltimore is looking to move several players:

Arnold Rothstein, a nearly developed 5.0 prospect starting pitcher.

Daniel Cormier, a 5.0 prospect catcher.

Courtney Brown, Jonathan McClendon, Thomas Barksdale... all inexpensive and serviceable MLB SPs.

Jonah Tatro, a recent 5.0 prospect who can play DH, 1B, and RF. He only has 64 days on his MLB clock.

Wendall Metzger, another DH type with a CF rating.

Numerous mid-level prospects and AAAA fodder to sweeten any deal.

I do, though obviously age and $ play into it.

I know... I wanted to see which way to go as the deadline approaches. Thanks.

I have a 7 game lead on Detroit in the pyth win column and a 2 game lead on Oakland. Who knows how it will pan out, but I may even wait one more sim before I pull the trigger. I do want to have some serious discussions and will make a deal now if it fits both of us.

IDK.... We can try, but it depends on if you want return value consistent with Kent's ratings OR Kent's stats. Tough call to make. I am also considering standing pat. Trying to negotiate with a couple other teams.... I'm open to PM discussion.

He is so frustrating. He is worth one thing to an AL team and another to an NL team, but he is probably worth most sitting on my roster and hoping he develops into a stud DH.

    Re: Baltimore Block

Looking for a MLB power bat. Prefer an aging half season rental, but I still have Cormier, Rothstein, Shears, Espinosa, etc... in exchange for the right player.

Please note, Rothstein is virtually a 20 year old MLB ready #3/#4 starter on a contending rotation. Cormier has ahead of development on contact, but not on power and eye.

Sure, now you say that! I could have traded van Smoot pre extension. Bah.

Bro, I told you Van Smoot was the one contract that I would not touch with a ten foot pole! The others... maybe.
