I made it as fair as I could. No way was I going to offer a prospect like the Video Game nerd, and I'm getting aggravated at Morarity not developing against right handed hitters.

which half was eaten? That may take the lead.

I think it's a good idea though I had the same worries. If people want a legit guy for a bargain. Everything is out in the open and it just has to pass. PMs become more haggling and such. I'll take what I see, and it's painless.

It doesn't hurt I have a huge man crush on the character too. I like it for sure.

its not a bad plan in theory. it helps you quite a bit. you did in the past, have a tendency to take a little less value for your guys. this should feed not only fairer value, but you winning deals more often. the thought process being... "man thats a good offer, but that guy is the piece i need to be a contender for the next 4 years, i gotta give up that extra 1st"... or whatever.

and i only eat bundt cakes like i eat vag, from the inside out!

Also, you should prolly not have the auction for such length of time. Shorten it up a bit so you have more action (first for everything right?) by the deadline.

What's a good ending time you think? I just wanted to make sure the weekend didn't fuck anybody, but I agree people shouldn't be twisting for too long.

I can still shorten this one, just so long as everyone has a shot.

48 hours. Everyone will see it in that length of time. They're lazy or uninterested otherwise.

i dont really see how sniping would do anything. youre pretty much picking the value/offer you want, no? its not gonna be whoever bids last wins. at least i would hope not. admittedly your first post was tl;dr

    Re: Yankees Auction #1

oh, better idea. If someone snipes, I can go back to the previous high bidder and offer them a chance to beat it or not, and if they do, I will not offer the sniper the same chance. Kind of an incentive and penalty system without endlessly prolonging things.
