Was Pittsburgh a crappy team when Sabu took over? Honest question.

He's an original GM so yes. I believe it was an 2004 Roster set and in 2004 the Pirates were terrible.

Re: Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

CJ obviously trying to just help fill teams in other leagues which is fine. I don't remember ever being on OMs site so thats inaccurate. I was part of group that came from the MLB Showdown card game.

KJdaman, Ahound21... People who knew what the hell they were doing. Ahound's cardinals were the first champions in Molina's league I believe.

KJ ran a league before Molina in which I won two championships in 4 years. again with the Pirates.

There were really so many websites that we went through.

    Six dollar bill sounds familiar.

How are you an original GM if you were never on OM's site? That's where Molina ran this league before he brought it over here.

It's where this league (as well as HSL) was when I originally took over the Padres.

Re: Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

I left after winning my 4th WS because the competition was shitty for about 6 seasons. Then I came back in the 2036 season or so.
I dont recall being a part of OMs website.

I disagree. You still have to know what you're doing to win multiple championships.

Is winning a lot in multiple leagues more impressive? Sure. But that doesn't mean we need to diminish winning multiple titles in one league.

Six Dollar Beer and Same Old Crew are the ones I remember. The league moved so many times I forgot them all.

Re: Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

Same Old Crew is the one CJ is referencing.

Although IIRC OM didn't own the site initially, but whomever did previously wanted to shut the place down so OM took over so they can keep the sim leagues going.

Re: Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

I remember there being a Sam kid and some fat guy. and some guy who loved the band twiztid and was an idiot.

Also, somebody who thought the Browns were going to win the afc north one year and called the Steelers washed up...and they only proceeded to win the super bowl. That was a fun thread.

If you're the wolf....does that make Leo a llama?
