I'll let it fly simply because Kaepernick has ace quality talent and the 3 1sts are two sure low ones and one that'll likely be just as low.

In fact, if Kaep were filled out we'd likely argue this isn't enough for him if this were in the TC.

fwiw, I'm not high on anyone left in the draft, the junk is just me taking it from schisno, and it's hard to get top pitching in this league, this had been in the works since the offseason.

It's true, the trade was made in the offseason well before the draft class was made.

Honestly I never cared what the TC considered was fair value or not. I've always valued things different and built my team differently from others. It should be a game where I should be allowed to do what I want because it is my team, if I had the choice from the start I'd have it that the TC couldn't have interfered at all. If people want to bemoan that, fine. You can replace me with someone who fits the same type of game style everyone else runs. I like building through the draft, plain and simple that's the only part that gives me any amusement.

I actually agree with you in that regard more than you think and that's a big reason why I made the change I did with trades. The main reason the TC still exists in some capacity is for overtly lopsided trades (which I don't count this as one) or for any newbies that may come along (because there's typically a bit of a learning curve for the subtle differences between OOTP and real life baseball).

That being said, I'm curious how you constructed a trade involving Colin Kaepernick before I even created him.

Mach wanted his first rounder back, I told him it would take multiple 1st rounders.

One of them being the 2060 1st round that couldn't be traded until 6/1. So we agreed to wait til then and worked out the moving pieces. Mach then told me to draft whoever for him because we wouldn't be able to swap before 6/1 in the sims.
