Better create a trade value chart.

I am very willing to cancel this trade. What it was pre-season... it no longer is. I have asked Mach if he had any other hits on Taylor and he said no. This has certainly become a goat-rope.

Kingdom, you no longer are who you used to be either. Your comment about respect is nothing other than sniping and serves no constructive purpose. You waffled from years ago and became a loud anti-TC proponent.

Phillyfan, in a vacuum... you are correct. We are not in a vacuum. I am uncomfortable with this trade, but given the changes in this league, I agreed again to the this particular trade with Mach.

With that said, I plan to complete my 50th season in MSL, 2060, and retire. There have been many happy years, but its time for me to go.

Don't retire. I'm hurting for active GMs as is. Don't add to that just because somebody doesn't like your trade.

I can pick this conversation in PM. I decided 50 seasons, awhile ago when I started to see the interest in OOTP dwindle.

The inability to trade guys like Taylor because nobody wants to give up a whole lot for the contract but the TC demands a whole lot for the talent is part of the reason I went this route.

I'm ok with active conversation in these threads but let's keep it civil and refrain from conversation on water under the bridge voting in the TC.

Seriously, for the good of the game and the league, if someone can offer Mach a better deal quickly, I will happily encourage him to take it. Let's go. Somebody put their money where their mouth is.

Honestly I don't mind the trade. People won't give up a ton for Taylor mostly because of his contract. No point in letting Taylor rot on the Yankees.

I can't afford Taylor financially or with enough talent. But Bench is out hitting him so....

I would feel better if the money was taken out of the deal. Low picks, garbage, and negating the complete financial responsibility? NYY could very well end up with nothing. Specs die and don't develop a lot more than they reach their potential.
