Thumbs Up Ways to make the comish's job easier when sending changes

None of these are hard set rules, just courtesies that make inputting changes easier, especially if you have a big PM.

    - List mid-season free agent signings first: That's a different part of the game, so if I get to that mid-PM I have to exit your team and go to the free agency screen.

    - List cuts before demotions/promotions: May as well trim the lists I have to sift through before having to dig through them for other moves

    - List demotions before promotions: The game won't let me take your roster past 25 (except in September) so I have to do the demotions first if you're making changes on your major league roster.

    - Group your promotions/demotions/cuts by level the player is currently at and by position, and order the positions as follows
1st, group by level the player is at before you make any changes. Preferably leave a space between each level to give distinction.

2nd, Group by position on their player page and order the positions as follows: SP, MR, CL, CA, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF, DH. The game orders them that way so it's easier if you do so as well.

    - When making line up or rotation changes, either bold or list only your actual changes: It's easier to know exactly what you want changed if you either A) bold the changes or B) only list the changes. I've seen both formats and both work great. But if the entire lineup and rotation is listed all in the same font and non-bold I have to skim through the entire thing to find the differences.

This list is subject to additions. And I reiterate these are not rules. I'll work with it if none of the above are followed, but following these courtesies would make changes happen quicker, more fluidly, and less chance for errors.

Whew, already do everything that's in the first post anyway. :yatesing:

I had to go in game to figure out if 3B or SS were first, because a lot of games are weird on that. But it's something that was never cleared up on any of the Instruction Threads.

Clearly you should just do it my way, and never do anything. Molina had it easy for all those years.
Yeah I don't really exist anymore

If we make switches in position (like putting a SP in the bullpen, or a 2B at SS, etc) can you make the primary positions where they are currently playing. It makes life easier when we can make changes. There is no need for 8 SPs on our team page when only 4 or 5 are actually starting.

It annoys me to no end. Even when I did run PSL. Which I still want to run but the site keeps rejecting my updated PSL File.

If I want the position changed, I list it in the PM.
