Molina's Sim League 2072 Free Agency round 1: Days 1-11

SS Johnny Blaze, SP Steve Pratt, and SP Wayne Unser are now free agents and it will be reflected in the upload that's currently in progress. If you've already sent FA offers feel free to amend them as desired, but please put that in the PM title if you want me to ignore your previous PM.

    1) All offers must be sent to me through PM in the following format:

    Team-Offers-Pos-Name-Years-Amount-Per Year
Ex: Rangers offer SS-Michael Young 5 Years @ $5,000,000 Per Year

    2) Offers received before the stated start time will be accepted.

    3) Offers received after the stated end time will not be accepted.

    4) You cannot change your offer once it has been submitted. You can bid again during the next free agency period however if you feel it may not be high enough.

    5) Any player signed to a major league contract during FA will not be eligible to be traded until June 1st. Any trades sent in involving those players before that time will be ignored.

    6) Trading during Free Agency is allowed but you are responsible for your own FA money situation.

    7) If a player does not like the offering team, I will inform the GM via PM and he will be able to bid on another player assuming there is enough time for me to do so.

    8) You can retract your offer on a player, but he will most likely not listen to any more offers from you for the rest of free agency.

    Financial Rules
    1) If you want to offer $10 million or more on a certain player, you are limited to 3 of those types of offers. Two of them can be between $10-$15 million while the 3rd one can be up to $20 million. If you are outbid on the player, or the player doesn't like your team, you will be able to offer on somebody else instead. If I see that you are trying to work around the rules (ex: multiple 9,999,999 offers) I reserve the right to cancel bids.

If you have any questions regarding the rules please post or PM me.

    Starts: now

Ends: Friday (February 2nd) @ 11:59 pm central

Repeating the message above in case anyone glosses over.

SS Johnny Blaze, SP Steve Pratt, and SP Wayne Unser are now free agents and it will be reflected in the upload that's currently in progress. If you've already sent FA offers feel free to amend them as desired, but please put that in the PM title if you want me to ignore your previous PM.

If you do not instruct me to ignore your first PM then I will input all offers in that one as well as any new one and the combined offers will be subject to the rules above...meaning if you've already offered someone else over 15 per and want to give that to Blaze for example I'd have to interject.

Why were they added to the FA pool?

Boston's finances were trashed and they were unappealing as an open team to potential new GM's.

If you was still there I wouldn't worry about it since you'd be there to try and actively fix it, but with no GM I'd rather they be marketable if you will.

You could have transferred their roster to Toronto and vice versa?

We'd have to have potential new GMs in the first place.

But no one seems to recruit to the league except me, then I get damned for it. Learned my lesson.

    Nah. I prefer league continuity.

You seem to be doing fine with Toronto's roster anyway.

Only if you focus on the here and now with current discussions.

Oakland has a fantastic GM that you brought here and overall league activity is good with them all so just don't view an almost full glass as half empty and you'll see that you're fine.

As for your first statement it is what it is, but I don't want to lose someone if they do come along with fleeting interest.
