Holy Jesus. I liked Koothrappali, but 20x9?! I'd say enjoy that, but the Yankees probably won't even notice the money being sucked out of their wallet harder than a motel hooker.

Not knowing the other offers, but I'm guess I overpaid for 3B Lloyd and SP Dorrough...as usually is the case in FA.

I wish my money situation was as good as some people to offer those contracts.

The Yankees have more players making $20+ million per year than I have making $1+ million per year. I cut a lot of salary, but jeez.

Some of these signings are crazy! I was closest on Dearmond, but still lost out. Trout was a good signing. I lost out on Dorrough, but Provie only went long on him, which is much safer than Mach's absolutely outrageous signings this season.

I'm not gonna have one player on my MLB roster who was signed through free agency.

I have one player on my roster that existed in the MSL universe before the 2055 season.

I have extremely specifc criteria for guys I like so I'm willing to overpay a bit. The kicker was that both big signings were only 26 years old. Considering my expected late 1st round picking, I need to replenish the team somehow. Sooner than later I have north of 50MM coming off the books so I can carry a bloated even for me payroll for a short time.

2 of those guys haven't played an inning in this league yet. Human created studs don't always perform to their ratings so it is a risk. Valenzuela's career ERA is over 5 and Greenly's is close to 5 minus his 2 years with me. It's a risk, but as you said...you've got the financial cushion to do it. I'm just always leery of those human created studs...

I'm at my limit in respect to breaking even with my revenue, but I've potentially got about $22 mil coming off the books depending on if I try to resign any of them.
