Trout really signed for that? He wouldn't take 15 million in an extension. This game pisses me off sometimes.

    Re: 2053 Round 1 signings

I missed on everyone I made an offer on, and feel decent about it based on what they went for.

Which is sad, cause I do have a lot of money and I should be the one making those ridiculous offers.

Blame JC for not accepting my trade offer for Ozzie at the deadline. Sorry bro. Ozzie's defense and speed were important to me, with the rest of my lineup. Now Benny the Jet can play 3B where he belongs. You topped my offer for Burleigh... maybe that evens it out.

BTW, Gehrig takes $20M less in free agency, forcing me to overpay Musial.

    Re: 2053 Round 1 signings

I think OOTP logic is at its worst when it comes to extension demands compared to what they accept in free agency if extensions fail.

As already pointed out by Phillyfan, Paul Trout is an even worse example.

Safe to say this was one of the more dramatic rounds of free agency in a while.

Also, Leo can attest, I think we were both really off on our Johnny Bench predictions. :drakelol:

    2053 Round 1 signings

I made what I felt like were fair offers to the younger ones. There just wasn't one I was ready to overspend on yet. Hopefully some of my prospects develop over the season so I can be more aggressive next year.
