I think OOTP logic is at its worst when it comes to extension demands compared to what they accept in free agency if extensions fail.

As already pointed out by Phillyfan, Paul Trout is an even worse example.

Is there a way we can fix this potentially? I mean, it just seems egregiously stupid.

Was hoping Bench would hold off while I work on dumping Nomo's salary. He was the only legit player talented and young enough to consider making an offer on. Look for Detroit to have another top 3 pick next year.
