But when someone posts a deadline I adjust my short term schedule (which includes more than just OOTP related things) according to that.

How would it be fair to pull the rug out from under me just because I wasn't as gung-ho as others?

I shouldn't be punished for not having my PM ready to go with my finger on the send button so I can send it right when the thread's posted.

I mean, what's the point of a deadline if we don't abide by it?

That may be true, but it doesn't negate the fact that I mentally prepared my weekend schedule around a Monday deadline.

It simply wouldn't be fair to pull the rug out and do the sim on such short notice.

Changing it to tomorrow wasn't as big of a deal because he changed it well in advance. What you was suggesting wasn't quite the same.

In retrospect, maybe Molina could have taken that extra time into account and not schedule so much time for the free agency period from the get-go. Then I would have seen a Saturday deadline and done my PM much sooner due to the more constrained time.

This is all moot anyways. My PM is in and the sim is tomorrow.

It's not fair to the participants to arbitrarily move the limit up.

Had the deadline been set for tonight I would have gotten the PM in last night.

That's why I said I could change it back to Monday if it caused a problem for anyone. I gave it that much time originally because I though there might be offers coming in throughout the period and some going back and forth resubmitting offers because players didn't like teams. As it is, until last night I had no offers submitted after about the first 24 hours of posting the start time.
