Thanks to those who inquired about trading. With Azcarate boosting... I will go ahead and draft Laroy Wayne-Closer to the Baltimore Orioles.

    Re: 2055 Amateur Draft

Dodgers select with the 27th pick in the 2055 amateur draft:

    RF Jacob Hale Jr.

LA sees a world of potential in an underrated by ootp prospect in Hale. He has all the tools I love to see in players... Speed, contact, eye. Along with the gap and avoid K, I feel has enough tools to make up for the lack of power. Early projections have him being in right field by the end of the decade. He can play other positions but right field is by far the best of his positions according to his profile. At worst he's a utility guy coming off the bench but I feel he could really be a poor man's Willie Mays Hayes at the top of a lineup.

The New York Yankees are on the clock. On a side note I would like to get back into the early 2nd if anyone likes any of my prospects to trade for or as part of a bigger deal for some rotation help.

The Yankees will gamble on youth and intangibles as the tie breaker and select 1B Philip Russell.

Nice pick, the 6 in gap made me look elsewhere. He would be an awful fit at his current talent for LA. He was one of the ones I wanted to try and find some way to get back into the 2nd and take.
