    Re: Traded Draft Picks

So, St Louis wasn't able to cover the 3 mil they owed Detroit due to making roughly 10 mil less in revenue than they did the previous year and barely made anything.

I don't want to regulate salaries to an extreme level, so what I'm going to do is maintain the salary cap of last year's revenue minus money owed next year and if this happens you just lose the difference in following years. (I still edited the Tigers + 3 mil)

If this happens more than on just a few occasions I may have to rethink this policy, however. I don't want something like this to be a regular occurrence. But I prefer it happening every now and then to being extreme with the payroll restrictions just because you're sending future cash.

(Rethinking wouldn't mean being extreme with salary restrictions, it'd likely entail restricting how much money can be sent in trades)

I think 1st round pick loss to team $$$ is owed if you can't pay on that yr would keep everyone in line...oh and the $$! Is still owed the following yr.... For future yrs not saying now...but I think this would be fair to all

    Re: Traded Draft Picks

That's too harsh, especially considering the amount of control we have on finances.

St Louis made 80-something million of income in 2059 and that's what I based his 2060 cap on, which he adhered to.

But he only made 70-something million in 2060 and, as a result, only had about 400k + for income.

I don't have to do this via direct trades. I just edit your cash total, so it's no harm to the team that's supposed to receive the money.

I'm just going to monitor the situation and if stuff like that happens too often I'll just put some kind of restrictions on how much you can send in a trade.

    Re: Traded Draft Picks

So, I had been linking all of the trades to the threads in the transaction forum to make it easy for tracking purposes to find the trade in question. However, a recent forum update has changed the formatting of URLs rendering all of the links I had obsolete (minus the two I just added).

I took out all of the obsolete links for the time being. I can meticulously go back and relink them when I have time if everyone wants.

I might do so anyway because I tend to be a perfectionist, but I can go either way if it's only me that'd want to do so lol

I sent the 2073 Baltimore and Texas first rounders, and the 2074 Baltimore first rounder to Cleveland. Also the 2073 Baltimore second rounder to Anaheim with some special sauce in exchange for the 33 year old over-achiever, Ryan Tannehill!

All of this is already reflected

I'll fix the SD and Pitt/Phi mix ups soon.
