2048 Free Agency Compensation

With the regular season over here is how 2048 compensation shakes out with everyone that would currently be a free agent (extensions still open, of course)

Type A (Signing team's 1st + 4.5 prospect at same position if signing team drafts 15-24, signing team's 2nd + 5.0 prospect at same position if signing team drafts 1-14)
CF Willie Mays (Chicago Cubs)

Type B (low end 5.0 prospect at same position)
2B Rogers Hornsby (LA Dodgers) (Forfeited due to signing Mays)

Type C (3.0-4.5 prospect at same position)
2B Eddie Collins (Oakland A's)
MR Stu Miller (Oakland A's)
MR Jim Konstanty (Atlanta Braves)
CL Andrew Evans (San Francisco Giants)
1B Bill White (St Louis Cardinals)
MR Ivan Cruz (St Louis Cardinals)

I think I may need to tweak the MR criteria. It seems everytime I think a reliever is a shoo-in for type B he winds up Type C.

They're MRs, screw them. Don't copy MLB's old broken system. They don't get traded for much as is, so they really shouldn't bring back much more than they already are comp pick wise.

It's not comparable to MLB's old system because you only get a MR when you lose a MR.

MLB let you pick whatever with your extra pick.

its a little late to play with the system and bring this up... but the type a compensation seems to be built to keep the strong teams strong, and keep bad teams tanking. id love to start to build an offense, but knowing that i still wont be a world series contender with or without mays, to give up a top 10 pick for a guy thats gonna still keep me as an 80 win team, i might as well just continue to flounder and keep getting high draft picks.
