Okay after acquiring Darren Shinn (7-8, 3.12 ERA), and Alberto Morales (12-10, 3.16 ERA).
Is moving Feeny/Belding an okay idea now? Lol
Rotation would be:
Connery
Stone
Martin
Shinn
Morales

If you need an OF or CL, I got a couple guys in Toronto that could be rented.
Busy trade deadline so far, Cincinnati still looking at tweaking some stuff. Looking for pitching help at MLB (not looking for massive blockbusters). Under 30.
ATL / OAK
Typo...I meant "can", not "can't."
I think I've had trade talks with just about anyone that didn't work out well at the end.
It happens.
Fred is a very respectful guy from basically any interaction I've had with him. I get the feeling he was just trying to compliment UCF but inadvertently took a vague jab at others without intending to do so.
Of course I wasn't involved in his PM's with others so I can be talking out of my ass here. But that's just based on my own personal experiences with him.
For sure. I honestly just wanted to know if he was referring to me because that didn't come across in the PMs.
Now I'm thinking of demoting Winslow, Hauser, and Spellman.
All would be promoted after the next sim.

I'm punting this season... Sort of.... Maybe I'll have money after all the expiring contracts.
Ashby and Blue would be available in the off season.
No problem with you really... except I let you know in the very first message the players I would not trade. A bunch of messages later we were right back to the guy I said I would not trade. I understand I didn't really have much to offer... but you seemed to want to get rid of your guy for several reasons. I tried.
I don't like trading very much anyway... I feel like I lose most of them trying to get guys I like for personal reasons instead of sim-playing ability.
Sorry we couldn't make a deal and frustrated over the denied Braves deal. Crap.
It was actually the third message (second that you sent me) that you mentioned "off limits" players. I mentioned players that I liked, you gave me list of players not available only one of which I was interested in. You made what I viewed as two quantity-over-quality offers for McDunnough, which is fine. I made a counter to see if we could come to a deal and we couldn't. No biggie; it happens. The part of your post I questioned was the comment of "coming out on top isn't enough for some people." I can understand if you were frustrated to not get HI, but to say I was coming out on top from either of those offers and trying to milk you for more is absurd to me (my counter was just the one pick you offered and one player that you didn't want to trade, which is OK and your prerogative). At any rate, one of the pitchers in our proposed deal gained two points of control (8,6,10 to 8,8,10) so you made out alright and should just use him now instead.
Let's see what the reward is this coming October for winning the AL Central...oh no
