Another year of no real increases in player talent, just losses and inconsequential increases.
You have an old team. Do you really expect old guys to boost?
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

Obviously not the old players, but there are a few under 30 in the majors and plenty in the minors. Instead, it's hit after hit regardless of age save for the occasional "increase in duration" or "positions himself better" type stuff that isn't really that helpful. CF Sobrino gaining contact is about the only useful development I've had I think. Hell, my 27 year old SP lost talent for no reason lol.
John Woods seems to join the conversation of possible backup shortstops was the biggest development for me.
Then there was this 50x50 love/hate situation:
Yasutoshi Nichiren seems to have improved his pure stuff!
Yasutoshi Nichiren is hitting his spots better, his command improved!
Yasutoshi Nichiren has lost some movement on his pitches...
All on the same day. I think thats the first time I've seen boosts to 2 when losing 1 other.
My team still sucks (Would be nice if Troy or Wayne would hurry up for opening day next year):
Batting AVG: .258 (24th)
Homeruns: 92 (24th)
Walks: 320 (20th)
Stolen Bases: 172 (5th)
Runs Scored: 536 (24th)
Pitching ERA: 5.15 (22nd)
Opponents AVG: .287 (23rd)
HRs Allowed: 178 (26th)
Walks Allowed: 426 (24th)
Runs Allowed: 715 (22nd)

Marvin Smith was a decent addition at least with the bat if not with the glove.
It almost makes up for trading John Swart to Baltimore and watching him immediately turn into the next Cal Ripken Jr.

Sosa forgot his corked bats in Colorado.

12-5 to end the season. This team maybe just about ready! Hopefully quiet offseason of no major injuries/talent hits, a little luck, and I'll be competing for post season baseball rather than top 10 picks.
Darrin Shinn for Rookie of the Year!

Two divisions featured a 90+ win team in 3rd place
Meanwhile, the NL Central is the Cubs and nobody else.

Also, I can't remember the last time Baltimore missed the playoffs.

Both of my prospects died late in the season. So that's cool.
