Thumbs Up July 2059 Power Rankings

For the first time since maybe ever doing the power rankings, we have no open teams! I'm so happy. Go humans go! Competition!

And on to the July rankings.

    28. New York (A)
Someone should trade for Michael Caulder so that NY has no major league talent.

    27. Houston
They have a reliever named Houston, so there's that.

    26. Cincinnati
Cerrano's OPS is still cooly under.. .600 …wait, what?

    25. Texas
Nothing says must see TV like the possibility of having Mike Tyson AND The Ice Truck Killer on the same team.

    24. Milwaukee
Breaking News.. new ownership in town. First order of business, promoting Gemma so she can kill off Tara. #msldrama

    23. San Francisco
Being bad for years can be worth it, if you're patient (and smart about gathering assets), cause look at that dude's farm. And he still has great vets..

    22. Minnesota
Judging by their pyth, they may be ranked too high.

    21. Seattle
Great looking young team just hasn't taken a step forward. But let's applaud them for starting Robin and Quinn back to back.

    20. Pittsburgh
They've come along way from being the worst team last season, but so has the division.

    19. Detroit
Walter White. Alan Garner. Blake Boston. This team has tons of crazy. Oh, and then there's Jax Teller.

    18. Arizona
They've added affordable, intriguing bats, but it has yet to translate into wins.

    17. Atlanta
Gogo Yubari is getting closer, and that makes me happy. At least until Leo randomly makes The Bride.

    16. St. Louis
3 first basemen in their lineup. I remember when I nearly had 9 catchers starting.

    15. Cleveland
Witloon will log on to be shocked that Cleveland is still in the league.

    14. Montreal
So much promise. Then they had their soul crushed by New York. Zero attempts made to fix a bad offense.

    13. Los Angeles
They may start a free fall after starting their rebuild 5 seasons in the making.

    12. Anaheim
Despite the Crimedawg's pace slowing up, he still maintains the HR edge over Pedro, 30-24

    11. Colorado
Filled with statues on defense, they wisely went out and snagged an underrated OF. And then added a good, young SP. They're not going away.

    10. Chicago (A)
Just added a bunch of veterans and got rid of Randy Johnson, so that's a victory. Clemens still pitching like a stud.

    9. Philadelphia
The dark horse just needs more offense! Moar!

    8. Boston
My team is super Bipolar. In fact, my starting CF was cut a few sims ago.

    7. Oakland
I just hope their owner is still alive. A lot of talent but needs work.

    6. Chicago (N)
It's really not often you see a non LA or NYM team have a dominate pitching staff, particularly in the pen. Check, check.

    5. Toronto
Don't look now, but they…currently have the top scoring offense. Bam.

    4. New York (N)
They've reclaimed the division by simply beating the good teams. Novel concept.

    3. San Diego
Bill Clinton is currently hitting .359 with an OPS near .900. The most unlikely awesomest lead off man ever.

    2. Kansas City
Random thought, but Big Mac is turning out to be a monster in the clutch as a reserve.

    1. Baltimore
Doing what they do, and that's win a bunch. They're also a rare AL team that's pitching well.

So long as I get to sing the song I don't care.

HollywoodLeo: You and Kingdom always annoy me
"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games

Well, at least it got (exceptionally marginally) better between the last rankings and now. Frankly, I blame Jobu.
