Absurd is the AL sporting a 5.11 ERA

If a non DH league mitigated that (assuming last year wasn't an abnormality) I'd seriously consider it.

There's be considerations taken for those who built DH lineups.

I know I JUST Took over TEXAS... but I feel I built them for a DH league... I should get 14 first round draft picks as compensation for my loss.

I think testing the all non DH league is a good idea and think both leagues should be equal. However if the al wants to keep the DH I would rather not have it.

    Re: NL DH or no?

I simmed through 2057 on a test file after restoring it to where the actual file currently stands (and CPU-ing everyone) and AL ERA was only 4.53 (4.19 in the NL)

If it happens like that more regularly then I won't worry about it. Hopefully the 5.11 last season was just an abnormality. I don't mind stupid stats if it's just an every now and again thing because that's realistic. A 5+ league ERA every year isn't.

The AL also had more completely mismanaged teams than the NL, if we had competent owners for all the teams this issue would go away

Well, it could very well just be a one year abnormality too. I'm just thinking ahead.

Nothing's happening until 2059 at the earliest.

Hey let's just keep things the way they are and let Slyder suffer with his great defensive 2B.

    Re: NL DH or no?

In my opinion, I think it should be the same for both leagues. I don't care one way or the other about the DH rule, but I think it should be equal no matter what the decision is. The (real MLB) rule that I think is destroying the fabric of America is interleague play. I HATE interleague play.

    I love interleague play.

I kinda hate the way it's structured, though

It just doesn't make sense to have it all year if both leagues don't have DH/non-DH.

I can't imagine it'll take long for that to happen, though.
