I always thought both leagues should have DH or both leagues should not have a DH. I actually wouldn't mind a DH.
I don't get the whole i built a non DH lineup thing. Just put a bench player 9th in the lineup in place of the pitching spot. Wouldn't really ruin your lineup.
Foooo Show!!
MSL - Chicago Cubs - 14 seasons 1,243-1,025. .548% 5 division titles TSL - New York/Boston - 1 season 1,026-756 .576%. 5 division titles
If I was still in the NL, I wouldn't have wanted the DH, so if AL Team's votes count, I'm on no.
If nothing else, move the teams that want the DH to the AL and the teams that don't to the NL!!! LOL

Before I make any final decisions on this I'm going to see if adding DH to the NL creates ridiculous ERAs on both sides like we saw in the AL last year. If it does it's a no go regardless.
I may even test an all-no DH league on that regard.

I'd actually dig a no DH league.

Montreal believes in tradition and feels a DH will bastardize the game.
If I test an all no-DH league and neither league sees 5+ overall ERAs I'd be highly inclined to go that route assuming the mass doesn't highly object.
Of course, since nothing's happening for at least 1 or 2 seasons we can in the meantime see if that was just an abberation.

There are some players that I would keep because of the DH. (Timmons is a prime example) Because that player doesn't defend well or instead of having 14 hitters and a 6 man bench, I now have 13 and a 4 man bench. That's one less guy I have on my bench that I typically have to give players rest.

LOL, why would removing the DH from the AL be absolutely absurd, yet ADDING it to the NL is a normal thought?
I think an all NON-DH league would be very intreguing. Pitchers hitting could come into play more, which no one looks at.
The fact that you would have a stud hitter with no fielding would be difficult to play.
HafDawg could use his Tony Larusa's lineup method and bat the pitcher 8th.
I'm game for NON DH completely.
Chicks dig the long ball, but real men know pitchers hitting is the shit. Especially Bartolo Colon.
