if it was an anomaly, wouldn't it be league wide? NL is normal. AL is playing every game at Coors. The entire top ten in OPS is over 1.000. Maybe the NL just has better pitching depth?

I blame the DH rule. It gives you all an extra real hitter while we're stuck with our pitchers batting.

I'm all in favor of uniform DH. But I don't think that addresses the fact that we still have a 5.17 ERA. Leo, what was the AL ERA last season?
