Well, I mean, how in tune with "reality" do we really have to go?

I mean, if we're going to be absolutely realistic then I should put all 4 new teams at the top of the draft, but is that really fair to LJ and Trendy?

How are we defining realistically? In actual expansion, the teams drafted LAST in the first round in their first year, if I'm not mistaken. (Admittedly, yes, that's bc they had the expansion draft).

Why are we expanding instead of replacing inactive teams that were complained about?

Because I don't really have any truly inactive teams.

Some are somewhat inactive but not enough to warrant kicking them out.

And the most inactive teams I have are GMs who have a history of being active and have only recently been inactive. My trigger finger isn't that happy.

Right. Obviously I'm in favor of whatever gives me the best draft pick, haha, but it's whatever works for you, really.

Toronto, both Chicagos, Philly, and maybe Arizona are the only teams that are borderline inactive but each of them, even zod who I am replacing if I don't expand, are still managing their teams to some extent.

I'm hoping an influx of added interest can not only add more excitement to the league with more wheeling and dealing but maybe even get their interest back up.

I would take a new team and let someone take over San Fran if someone didn't want a rebuild.

Well, I'd probably take one to build up. But Atlanta's kinda in a rebuild themselves, so if you'd rather give the newbs a more established team, I'd completely understand.

They're not ideal but they have good players to work with both in the majors and minors, so if you're still interested and if this happens I'll take you up on this offer.
