I was spot on him and Ryan.
The director's cut of my Ryan blurb was actually scarily prophetic.

Overall, I think this was a good free agency. Leo's ideas are really starting to sink in and I think this league will continue to evolve and stay stellar.

    9. Joe Torre, C/1B/3B
Torre could be a real wild card, or vastly overpaid that it doesn't matter if he fills out. Torre is currently 28 and under his potential, thanks largely in part due to his weak ratings against RHP. That's also what has led to a very underachieving career offensively. There is potential for some power, and there is always the "late bloom" potential. He's also a good defender at C and 1B. Should get: an offer from the Yankees for the sake of irony, an offer from Boston to forsake baseball, or simply a 3-4 year deal, 5-6 mill range; Likely getting: way too much for a career .317 OBP
Torre didn't like the Yankees' organization

You should do a full assessment of what happened with free agency.

Re: Kingdom Law's Free Agency Rankings

I think we should do anonymous polls to determine the major award categories. Stearns was a worthy MVP candidate but White was unanimous in league voting. I know it's been expressed before numerous times to consider this even if OOTP officially records their pick. All we would have to do is have Leo edit the league history thread stating the real vote winners. I'd be able to handle doing those polls so it's less work for Leonardo.

Anyone else like this? Plus it could spark fun debate when there's no clear winner for a category. I think the Cy Young in both leagues has been pretty close past several seasons for example.

And I'll look at maybe a preseason ranking or something. I am off work today and tomorrow unfortunately so I have downtime.

I like this idea, there's SO OFTEN that someone, "CANNOT BELIEVE THAT MY GUY WASN'T THE WINNER" Well now a jury of your peers can agree to that.

I believe the poll should go out at the point where the season ends/playoffs begin, and released when the world series is over....

I know this may be a lot of work on you Kingdom, But if you came up with 3-5 candidates for MVP, CY, and ROY for both NL & AL that would be perfect... you can even do a Rolaids relief man!
