Re: 2052 thread of in season banter and mayhem

just past midseason and here's the breakdown in LA:
    The Good:
-Robert Ellis sporting a 2.60 ERA.
-Deshawn Russell 22 svs 2.38 ERA.
-Joseph Vaughan is having the best season of his time in LA.
-Mickey Cochrane is hitting over .300.

    The Bad:
-Willy Mays Hayes sub 600 ops.
    -Frank Donohue experiment has failed.

    The Ugly:
-Anything having to do with Dick Allen.

I want to trade some guys need power bats though. Probably promote deel as the bottom 2/5 of my rotation is useless.
    Batting AVG: .253 (17th)
    Homeruns: 69 (19th)
    Walks: 252 (11th)
    Stolen Bases: 148 (1st)
    Runs Scored: 384 (T-18th)

    Pitching ERA: 3.96 (7th)
    Opponents AVG: .269 (14th)
    HRs Allowed: 49 (3rd)
    Walks Allowed: 223 (5th)
    Runs Allowed: 413 (8th)

Unfortunately for him, barring injury, he'll be chasing the younger Hughes for years (2 years younger and 45 more saves).

If this is the way OOTP wants to say I'm sorry for the three career enders to my good prospects. I'll take it.

    Jones is up to 10-10-9
    Griffey gained more power talent.
Vernon Light is up to 7-10-9.

Turner over Day for the all-star game was a weird choice.

No. He doesn't have a problem with giving up home runs. Unless someone is crazy desperate, no one wants a guy with a 6 in movement.

I'll take Hoffman over Hughes anyday. My offense is actually good so I don't have that many save opportunities.

Yet you used a 1st round pick on a closer (14th overall).

It's Trevor Hoffman are you an idiot? You think no one else would have drafted him? LOL. LMK if Hughes ever gets a 0.87 ERA and an 0.68 WHIP at any point of a season.
