I'm not entirely sure how we finished over .500 last season (83 - 79) with my bottom of the league offense, but we should be better this season. We did have the #1 pitching and I believe my pitching staff will up near the top again.

I have a few platoons, which should work out well. Palmeiro, Porter, and Dixon have room to grow. I hope Palmeiro learns CF decently as the Simmons and Powell acquisitions forced him there basically (with Porter moving to 1B).

I'm hoping we can make the playoffs this season. It will depend on the offense and injuries. Although every starting pitching from last season (Eckersley wasn't in the rotation for more than 1 sim ; Koosman, Mendez, Pereira, Day, etc.) missed time last season with injuries and we still had the #1 pitching staff according to ERA and runs. Barring any disasters, pitching should still be solid.
