You actually had a lot to do with my success. You traded Heilmann and Dickey for Garon, which set me up with the number one pick to net Teddy.

Re: Discussion on A proposed Rule Change

    I won 2 ('36 and '37).
One as a WC and a #1 seed.

    In a 8 year span.

2034 92-70 (I won the last 16 games of the season and missed out by 1 game in the WC Race)
    2035 97-65 (WC, lost in round 1)
2036 116-46 (Won WS over Molina's dominant Texas Rangers)
2037 95-67 (WC, Won WS while only losing like 2 playoff games)
2038 123-39 (Lost in LCS to Milwaukee 4-2)
2039 120-42 (Lost to Kingdom's Rockies in a 1st round sweep, still pissed at OOTP for that one)
2040 107-55 (Lost to Phillies in round 1)
2041 91-71 (This was the year I lost a 30 yr old Steven Hill to a career ender that crippled the dynasty)

    ERA's during that span: 4.17, 4.10, 3.41, 4.00, 3.34, 3.18, 3.47, 3.76

I think your offense was deeper than mine. Your best hitter is Williams which was better than Steven Hill, Robert Shaul and Donald Starrett.

I had a 3-time Cy winner in Hernando Martinez, Joe Arnold (who had 1 Cy Young before Hernando), Todd Crissman and Bill Capra (who later became Martin Fyfe) who were both better than Shocker (he was basically Fyfe in ratings, maybe a little better)

My bullpen had 4 closers and 2 setup men. I think I would have enough on the pitching side to contain that offense.

At one point Shocker was 10-10-8, I think. Can't forget I also had Lee Meadows(7/8-9-10) and Larry Morley(8-10-9).

My bullpen has mostly been thrown together every season, outside of Sills.

You can see where I tried to emulate pitching staffs around Burdette and Alexander...
