I guess I can expect Mantle to fall off a cliff in a 3-4 years, too. Well, lesson learned: Don't sign anyone in this league over the age of 32 because they'll completely die in a year or so with or without any injuries.
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
I think they tend to die around 35 in this league. I'm worried about Walter next year, but I think the pitchers sometimes last a little longer.
I don't think they normally fall off the cliff like Renz though. Yunque still isn't too bad.

Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
+5 on the run differential.
7 games under .500, I dont know what to make of this team.
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
Lombardi does better against lefties and Kuester does better against righties. What a screwy platoon :fry:
Enjoy the postseason CHN, Milwaukee, San Diego, and the pathetic NL East winner.
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
I wish I had some big bats to help out since the pitching looks to be doing well. Is it just easier to develop pitchers than batters in this game?
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
I wish the draft order was like the NBA draft order and playoff teams picked behind non playoff teams. :)
Would have won the NL East by a mile, AL Central by a game, and the AL WC by 4 games. Groovy.
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
Lol, 2 third place teams would have won the NL East. And another would have forced a one game playoff.
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
I can beat Brooklyn. I broke that tiebreaker.
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
Win over 100 and lose to SD in the first round...par for the course in Milwaukee.
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
I guess my penchant for always facing Prov in the playoffs isn't TSSL specific.
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
2 conferences. Top 4 in each. Aye
Re: 2047 Random Rumblings
I don't like it. Divisions keep things more interesting in my opinion. You're not just playing for the world title, you have your division rivals to hash it out with along the way.
I know teams can miss the playoffs while another team with a worse record makes it this way, but that's the case in real life as well and I'm all for realism.
