San Diego sucked the first half of that sim, but went on an 8 game win streak at the end to climb right back to the 3 games back they started the sim at.

Lou Gehrig's name is splattered all over the L2 Leader board, mostly at or towards the top.

+6 Pythagorean record...is this finally the year where I'm the not-so-good team that steals a title? Hmm? That would be a change of pace.

Go 13-7 and not make ANY seperation... Disappointing...

There must be something in the clubhouse water/gatorade vendor in LA because I signed this guy before the sim to just give Hunt a sim off (5.27 ERA thus far this season). and...

Thursday 5/18/2045: Kenneth Johnson shuts out Chicago (N) on 2 hits
CHICAGO (N) - It was a great day for Los Angeles (N)'s right-hander Kenneth Johnson. The 28-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 2-hitter, against Chicago (N) on Thursday. The bid for a no-hitter was broken up when Victor Stull singled with no outs in the 5th inning. Johnson (1-1) fanned 4 and walked none, throwing 108 pitches. 'I had a good grip on the ball today and I was able to put it where I wanted. That kept them out of balance.' Los Angeles (N)'s shortstop Harold Maynard went 4 for 5, hitting a double, scoring 2 runs and collecting 5 RBI. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Johnson. Los Angeles (N) scored 12 runs on 20 hits.
