That can be a little dangerous, though (and I learned that through personal experience)
You could see Mike Trout and think you have a great player, only he took talent hits in the game and isn't half as good as he is in real life.
Meanwhile, Wil Venable possibly took a bunch of talent boosts and is the best player in the game.
But I do get that. That's the very reason it took me awhile to get fully involved in (ironically enough) MSL when I first joined while I dove right into other leagues that weren't further along.
