You may not have noticed that because C Smith is out for the season.
if it's a few days you may as well start him if you want him starting because I sim 20 days. While he's out the game will start someone else there but since I don't sim one game at a time there's not much you can do about it.
You can promote and demote whoever, as long as you have 25 or less on the Major League level
But it's smart to have 2 catchers. They tire easy and that'll make them more prone to injury
The choice is to DL the injured C and promote a C from AAA
