Re: MSL Open Teams: Chicago (A)
The ending stunk. They basically trashed the entire premise of the show just for a twist.
But it was still a great show all together, it just ended wrong.
Kobe, you taking the White Sox or what?
Re: MSL Open Teams: Chicago (A)
He knows he wants too. What other league would he have Tommy Vercetti, Nigel Dicken, and Betty Spaghetti all at once?
Re: MSL Open Teams: Chicago (A)
It was a M. Night ending.

Can you pm me and give me a cliff notes version of how to play? I haven't played in a sim league in forever.

I was reading that, that was the ending they had in mind all along.
They filmed all the scenes with the kids as teenagers before everything else.
And that the show had issues picking up interest early on and that there were two alternative to the mother.
Had the show ended after the second season, the mother would've been Victoria and the alternative was Stella.
I just hate how the finale was way rushed. Wish we could've seen more of Ted and the Mothers relationship develop. Also hated the fact that we waited so long for Robin and Barney to get married and they just spent about 5 minutes to break them up.

Yeah, I know it's the ending they had in mind the entire time, but that still doesn't make it not a great show that just ended wrong.
Take away that last part that basically killed everything and it still was what it was and provided a whole lot of laughs.
But yeah, I agree the ending was stupid for the very reasons you said.

Agreed. Great show. Just crappy ending. That show opened the doors for most of their careers. Although NPH and Alyson Hannigan were already successful prior to the show.

Re: MSL Open Teams: Milwaukee
For a whole half second we were full. :sadwalk:
Re: MSL Open Teams: Milwaukee
I'll take an open team. Where do I find the rules to play?
Re: MSL Open Teams: Milwaukee
Re: MSL Open Teams: Milwaukee
Message Hollywoodleo if you need more info. He is the commissioner.
Re: MSL Open Teams: Milwaukee
and ask Kingdom for advice, he's kind of the guru.
Also, turn down like any trade request you get for the next week. They likely won't be fair.
