After finishing 2nd the Dodgers attempted to add some offense that was just short of offensive last season. Finishing middle of the pack it allowed Colorado and Pythag to win the division via roshambo victory. 12 game swing must NOT happen again.

Starting off with the strength of the team as always is the rotation (subject to change):

If another starter is acquired (or Newsom blows the doors off of spring training) Faura likely moves to the closer roll.

The lineup gets a facelift and hopefully continued improvement from James Lappin.

I feel that I can cover the middle of the game but the back end needs someone to step in and take over. Pen shouldn't be a real weakness from innings 6-8 but closing them out is going to be a pain in my backside... unless Swearengin FINALLY takes that "final" step. Malave is being brought in hoping to get a good season out of him and that 39 was the exception. Plus he's bound to know how St Louis ticks and vows revenge come October and singlehandedly defeats St Louis for me. .
