2036 Contraction Draft Thread

Each team was assigned a number, 1-24, based on alphabetical order. The numbers were fed into a random number generator and this is the result. The draft may go to 2 rounds if we have time. Teams with GM's have priority over GM'less teams. The good news, sort of, is that there will still be enough GM'less teams that everyone should get someone pretty good out of this.

You all can go ahead and start picking now if you want. It might be easier to pick out the eligible players while they are on teams then weeding through the FA pool.

Yep, anybody in the contracted team's organizations are fair game.

Alright people. The advance to the off-season is done and we can get the draft's going. Any player who was on one of the contracted teams last year is included in the contraction draft. That includes minor leaguers and anyone who was going to be a free agent.

Methinks MoMo might pick Kelty for mntwinsfan. He was on the boards July 4th at 1:11 AM... about two days AFTER this thread was started.... For crying out loud! I am normally more patient, but this is a long standing pattern of behavior with this guy. I guess we should be glad that he is around when he is around... [maybe.]
