    Molina's Sim League 2034 Rumblings....

Baltimore will take solace in the pyth record after the first sim.

BTW, has anyone seen anything crazier than the career of John "Barbed Wire" Ingram? The guy was drafted as a 10-8-9 or so... He crashed to 10-1-1 talent in AAA. He maintained about a 10-4-3 actuals at his lowest, but look at the not to shabby stats this guy has put up.

OOTP is a freaky thing at times.

St Louis is actually winning. I dont have enough ML ready guys to field a decent team.

OM: Ive seen Rosario go from 10-10-8 to 8-6-4 and Lazaro Jimenez go from 10-8-10 to 10-4-6 at the same time. And frustrated me for about 4 seasons.

My point was the numbers he has put up for about 5 MLB seasons with 10-1-1 talent... Amazing.

I had a similar guy in another league. Alex Farfan, when I had him he was a 5-1-5 with a 100 MPH fastball. Called him up as a joke to the ML and he boosted to a 10-3-6 or something like that. I joked that I called him up to just hit people and send him down.

I was crazy busy this week, but a 9-7 start is acceptable. With getting some new talent from FA, I expect to field a solid team and hopefully win the division again this season, but Minnesota was tough last year and I am sure they will be tough again this year.

If my trade with Cleveland works out for both Correa, and Dalmau I might win my division in a runaway...

    Juan Dalmau 17-10, 2.51 ERA
    Martin Fyfe 12-4, 2.77 ERA
    Robert Ransdell 15-9, 4.20 ERA
    Orlando Punal 19-10, 4.30 ERA
    Carl Arms 17-4, 3.13 ERA
    Bradley Simmons 15-13, 3.46 ERA

Plus I'll still have my young starter, Elmore in waiting...

I didnt have any expectations of this team even being near .500 and they are tied for 1st in the Central.

    Batting AVG: .279 (10th)
    Homeruns: 52 (11th)
    Walks: 161 (15th)
    Stolen Bases: 62 (12th)
    Runs Scored: 271 (T-11th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.22 (13th)
    Opponents AVG: .245 (2nd)
    HRs Allowed: 41 (16th)
    Walks Allowed: 170 (17th)
    Runs Allowed: 233 (6th)

The grand rotation that includes 2 players that died from drafts, 2 waiver wire pickups (one of them having 3 control), and a middle round guy that bloomed to a decent pitcher. An offense that has been patched together to the point I might have to use Conaway right away at LF, moving Carranza to CF. And try to find a RF.

Half game back for the WC and 2.5 back in the Central. I really need one legit starting pitcher (My rotation is a 6-9-7, 9-5-7, 10-3-8, 7-5-9 and soon to be 5-6-8). Steven Hill and Vincent Conaway make their debuts next sim. Defense is about take a major hit because I had to move Starrett to SS to make room for Hill.

I finally take over the #1 spot in the AL Central as my bats continue to carry the load.

    Re: 2034 Rumblings....

Brewers are in trouble. I have zero faith in my lineup. Ray and Lomas need to start hitting the ball if I have a chance to make the playoffs.

I find it pretty ridiculous that Karp actually wants a 50% raise to 15 million. The guy had an amazing 5 year peak, but he won't last as a starter for much longer. He can't go more than 5ip a game and most starts he is out by the 4th inning.

Will be in search for a solid SS/SP prospect.
