40th Season Announcement

The 2044 season is a big one for MSL. This will be the league's 40th season spanning more than 7 years. I started the league before the real life 2005 season began and only 3 GM's remain from the original 30 (Shadow, Mission, and myself). If we hadn't banned Sabu it would have been 4. Some good GM's have come and gone but many of the great ones are still present. The league hasn't always had a home either bouncing around from half a dozen different sites, I think I even set up my own proboards site once, before finding a permanent home here at BS.

With the big 40 getting underway I am announcing my retirement as league commissioner at the end of the 2044 season. Taking my place for 2045 and beyond will be the GM of the San Diego Padres, you all know and love him, Hollywood Leo.

I want to thank all of you for sticking with me for all these seasons. Having a great core of active GM's is what kept me running this thing all this time.


With all of that said, here's to a great 2044 season and more to come.

Best and most realistic league Molina, Started in 2007 missed a few years but this league is dominant.

I don't think many people even remember this, but Shadow was my co-commish in HSL when I started the league. He disappeared very soon after the first season kicked off and the rest is history, but we had great conversations as we set the league up.

Yeah sorry about that. Back then I didn't have my own computer and the one I used was really a piece of crap since it was the families. It was just slow that I had issues with OOTP and uploading. So in the end I wouldn't have been that helpful even if I didn't start disappearing around then haha

I enjoyed working with you and probably wouldn't have been as successful in launching the league w/o you. I didn't mean to sound negative earlier.
