Free-agent Twins outfielder Jacques Jones, who was paid $5 million by Minnesota last season, could end up with a $20 million, three-year offer from the St. Louis Cardinals soon.

The article also talks about the owner saying the team has lost $15 million each of the last 4 years.

Jones would be a great fit with St. Louis but so would Giles. Where the hell is Reggie Sanders going to go?

I'm not a HUGE fan of Jones, but I'd almost rather keep him than Hunter around. At least Jones can hit. He's just as fast as Hunter around the bases and at least he gets on base. Granted, he may not be the highlight real man when it comes to stealing away HR's, but ... ugh. If Jones is gone and we still have guys that can't bat their ****ing weight on this club, I"m going to scream.
