    Game summary after 6 innings:

    DET 100 020 3 4 1
    MIN 001 011 3 6 0

Joe Mays pitch five good innings despite the home runs.

Lot of homeruns in this game.

Craig Monroe homered for the Tigers

Jason Bartlett and Michael Cuddyer homered for the Twins

Jacques Jones grounds out as Joe Mauer scores to give the Twins a tie. Mauer gets a leadoff double, Torii gets a bunt to move Mauer to third as Torii was safe, Jacques grounds out as Mauer's speed goes home.

Mauer had an infield hit, but then the throw was off so Mauer runs to second. Torii has an infield hit as Mauer goes to third. Mauer scores from third.

TM is gone. He did a good job.

Let's hope Jesse Crain can keep it at bay.

Good job by J.C. He keeps it at 4-3 as he K's Pudge Rodriguez.

J.C has been good so far.

Twins gotta score some runs and quick before Twin killer Troy Percival is on the mound to close it out for the Tigers.

Gardenhire is going to be platooning Jesse and J.C. a lot this year. I think it's stupid. Jesse needs to learn to get these guys out. It would have been nice to have him get Infante out, but it did not work out.

I was okay with platonning tonight though because he wanted to keep it at 4-3. It worked. I just hope Jesse can have a chance to finish this inning.

    Nice job by J.C. tonight

    3 Ks tonight.

Twins big hitters coming up. To me, the eighth is do or die IMO.

    Back-to-back walks by Ugueth Urbina.

Let's hope we can score and get some runs with Joe Nathan ready to go in the ninth.
