Outside of the HRs, Joe Mays has done a good job overall. I think this is it for him. He is not pitching past five inning with Terry Mullholland warming up.

    Bottom of the fifth.

Let's hope the Twins can score some runs. Maroth has not been that impressive so the Twins need to get some hits off him.

    Yep.

Bartlett homers up in the left field bleachers
Cuddyer homered up in left field
Craig Monroe homered in the LF bleachers similiar to Bartlett.

Lynch: Were you a huge fan of Sparky Anderson in the 80s and 90s?

Joe Mays is done. He did a good job. I was very happy with his performance tonight. This is something to build on.

Terry Mullholland is on the mound. Let's hope he can keep this at 3-2.

Did you know when the Tigers last won the World Series, Terry Mullholland was a rookie? How about that?

My boy, TM gets it done.

I am so proud of him.

I am so glad he is on the Twins. He is a special pitcher and a special human being.

    Maroth is finished.

Alan Trammell was smart enough to take him out knowing the Twins were about to hit him so he will go with Esteban German.

This is a golden opportunity to tie the game here with 1 out.

Torii gets a bunt and runs to first, Mauer is in third base.

We gotta tie here. I like to see Joe get a no-decision.

Tigers reliever Jamie Walker will face Jacques Jones as Esteban German is gone.
