    Twins Twins vs Indians (09/02/05)

After a day off, the Twins take to the field again tonight vs the Tribe. They really need the wins here and a sweep would give them a great boost in the Wild Card standings. Currently they are 5 games back in the WC standings behind the Yanks, A's/Angels (tied for division lead) and the Indians. As you can see, a sweep here would really really rock and this are pretty much all must-wins now.

    Tonight's Pitching Matchup:
    • Radke (8-10, 3.71 ERA) vs Sabathia (11-9, 4.75 ERA).
It's good that the Twins have the top of their order vs the Indians in this series. They are going to need it.

(I'll be more offline than online for the next day or three, so I'll just quick include the next couple of matchups in case I'm not around):
    • Saturday: Santana (13-6) vs Millwood (7-11)
    • Sunday: Baker (1-1) vs Westbrook (13-13)
    Go Twins!

Another pathetic showing by the Twins offense. How many times this year have the Twins scored 1 run or less in a game? Got to be some sort of record, right?

No way this Twins offense is worse than the Dodgers offense in 2003.

thanfully I missed the game again last night, but looking at the box score.... Dk is right. This offense is just pathetic (something I've been saying most of the year).

I am SO grateful that we still have Scott Ulleger as our hitting coach. What a job this douchebag has been doing with this club the past few years.

For about 2 weeks in the middle of August, they gave us a climmer of hope, but it's been painfully obvious almost all year long, this team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. If some of the other teams fell apart and somehow the Twins were able to "back into" the playoffs, they'd still get their asses handed to them somehow in the first round and be done in 4 games anyway.
