Twins in Texas

The Twins play in Texas and Jacque Jones should be joining the team too.

Heartbreaker loss yesterday to the White Sox but what can you do?! They are still very much in the hunt for the Wild Card so let's not give up just yet.

Appears that Joe Mays has lost his spot in the starting rotation - about time! He has not been the pitcher everyone expected after the surgery and sitting out all last year. He needs more work in either AA or AAA but is certainly not ready to continue in the rotation. Looks like Baker will fill that void.

Hopefully Gardy is feeling better. He said it was either the offense or the flu but he had to rest in the clubhouse for the last 3-4 innings yesterday. He was cleared to make the trip so he should be A-OK.

Kyle is on the mound tonight for the Twins.

Harsh series. They lost two of three to a reeling Rangers team and they will need some sort of spark really fast (Baker's moving to the rotation, but I'd look for the offense) to stay in an extremely competitive playoff race with two teams in their division and four teams out of it.
