I've used the same joke before, but this is the future of baseball GM job races: Puny Ivy League Nerd #1 vs. Puny Ivy League Nerd #2.

You mean the Twins want to get a GM for a team with a loaded farm system like the Cubs had... they need to suck for like 10 more years for that I think. Think how the Cubs would be even better with Schwarber(sp) not injured at the start of the year... catcher/OF/HITTER. Epstein has done well with SPs tho.

Twins need to start from the top! Find an owner willing to spend money. Remove Molitor, Mauer and all the starting pitchers. Trade Plouffe for a starting pitcher. Biggest needs I see is some top starting pitching and a 1st baseman that can hit for power. Someone in the lineup needs to protect Brian so he has more chances to drive in runs. Final thought is I have a feeling Brian will be moved before next season. We should get a good return.

Dozier is amazing. Would love to see some more talent around him to help him out. From what I have read though, Molitor will be back.
