    Hitters

We maybe in for a long season. Not scoring runs and who will be hitting homers? Josh needs to be moved for the first offer we get. The guy as not hit all spring.

Willingham's best month is April in his career, so maybe they can sell high on that?

This team sucks. Might be the worst Twins lineup I have ever seen in my life.

They can't even sell season tickets which is pretty pathetic considering we are having the AS game here this year. They are advertising that special AS benefits if you sign up for season tix now. It's not working. The currently number of season tix that have sold is lowest since they have been at Target Field and rivals some of the leanest years in the Dome.

The Pohlads have to be just about the worst owners in baseball. Their dad was a POS and they learned from the best (when it comes to not spending proper money on a team).

Spring training does not a season make.

I do agree about the Pohlads though.

So long as Jeffrey Loria exists the Pohlads are not the worst owners in baseball.

The report in the startribune was that the polads gave the approval to spend in free agency. I blame Ryan for not goung after the hitters in fa. Yeah he spent on pitching but this teams needs hitting as much or more than pitching.

Mauer, Willingham and Dozer was like 0-13 in game one. I expect they will get some hits today.

Jason Kubel goes 8 for 43 in the spring, and he's hitting cleanup in game two of the season.

    Hmmm...

Kinda went "on strike" where MLB is concerned not long after the Pohlads threw away Johan Santana for 3.5 shitty prospects and a bag of expired Cheetos.

I watch from afar now. Still overly critical of the ownership (as you may have already seen) as I probably will continue to be until this crappy family sells to someone who lives and breathes baseball and is willing to open the pocketbook to put a team on the field. Also an ownership that is willing to throw away truly craptastic team managers. How in the hell Gardy still has a job is beyond me, other than perhaps he gives the best lip service on the casting couches of the Pohlad family. Seriously, the guy is like 180-300 over the past 3 seasons! The whole coaching staff needs an enema.

How have you been? Good to see a familar face/voice in the Twins forum here.
