    Carroll had a good year last season but at 37 years old, it's risky to think he can handle the everyday SS duties. Looks like it's $7 million over two years.

    It's getting to be a crazy offseason when teams are giving raises to players who had been overpaid by Ned Colletti, namely Barajas and Carroll.

    That being said, I can expect Ned to respond by blowing his entire budget on Ryan Doumit and Clint Barmes/Mark Ellis.
