Twins turning things around?

Twins have won there last 12 of 14 games and on a 5 game win streak. Awhile back they were 17 games out of first place. Now we are only 8 out. Seems to me we have a great chance at winning the division. Mauer and Tsuyoshi Nishioka are back. Things are only going to continue to get better. Hopefully Kubel and Span return soon so we can really make a run at 1st place.

After the terrible start to the season and all the injuries things are finally looking up for the Twins.

I wouldn't say a great chance but things have definitely turned it around. They still have a long road to go if they want to be in any sort of contention.

They have to pick up a game a week on the top teams and they'll be fine. The pitching is getting better and a few arms are back in the bullpen. Capps looks more like a closer than a BP pitcher.

the test for me is the series now with the Giants. If we can win the series we are back in the race.

First part of the test passed -- 9-2. Pavano pitched 8 good innings and Mijares finished up.

Twins are rolling along. Just think if this team did not have the poor start and all the injuries. How big of a lead could we have had?
