    Twins Liriano no-no?

No-hitter through 8 innings with 101 pitches. He has allowed a ton of walks. Load up that MLB.tv, people. It's about to get serious.

Holy hell. Nice pick in the dirt by Morneau to save it. Through 8.1 innings. Liriano already lowered his ERA by like 3+ runs with this start alone.

It comes down to Adam Dunn, who of course couldn't hit a lefty if his life depended on it. This thing is in the bag.

Excellent. I'm now anticipating Ozzie's post-game press conference.

Not even us could stop Liriano from somehow locking down a no-hitter.

I cut Liriano in Leo's league two days ago. Saw this and got pissed, and picked him back up after he CLEARED WAIVERS.

Thats been the luck of my pitching staff in that league that has Felix, Grienke (starting tomorrow), Josh Johnson and a bunch of other guys I want to beat over the head with a frying pan.

Good for Liriano!! He has been absolute shit this season and for him to turn it around like this could be the thing to get the Twins going. I doubt it but that's what the media is going to say

I dropped him in one league and kept him in another. I'm glad I did.

This is awesome. Just as both Joe Nathan and Liriano are struggling, Liriano throws a no-hitter to remind the Giants of their still lopsided trade for A.J. Pierzynski.

    Re: Liriano no-no?

Liraino needed to pitch a good game. I think talks were that Slowey would take over his spot in the rotation. If Frankie can keep the ball down and let the defense behind him do it's job, we might be seeing the old Liriano.

Twins win again today. Blackburn pitched a good game. Looks like the closed door meeting has worked.
