Gardy did make some poor choices. He let Liriano get rocked for the big inning. Then he waited too long to take him out of the game. What that proves is he had no clue what to do. Could this be because he had little confidence with the pen? How can you be happy with the way the Twins played? They sure looked scared to face the Yankees.

I never said I was happy with how they played. I clearly stated I was disappointed, but I'm not going to bash the team into oblivion and be happy that they aren't playing.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

I am very disappointed to see the Twins lose in 3 games -- again. I am willing to let Bill Smith and Ron Gardenhire do their jobs of evaluating talent available and within the team's budget. The Twins should have a better team next season than they had this year, with the return of Joe Nathan and Justin Morneau. Jose Morales, Jason Kubel, and at least one of the starting pitchers (Baker, Blackburn, Slowey) could be moved. If a SS like Hanley Ramirez were to become available for a decent package, I would be happy to see a change made there.

From what I have been reading, we will not be bringing him back. We are going to call up some rookies from AAA.

Go an be a fan of another team. If you were an actual Twins fan you might actually agree with some of the things stated. But being the homer you are you can't see what the issues are for this team.
For some reason I missed this post earlier.

You can't question my level of being a fan by internet posts I make on a forum. I'm not the one coming on here bashing my team. I know what the issues are on this team, and I am really disappointed in how this team performed in the playoffs. But I'm not going to throw a temper tantrum every year they don't win.

Don't assume. And keep up the name calling and your thread will get closed.

It's one thing to bash the team. I can certainly understand a cynical view.

But even realmofotalk doesn't go as far as to say he doesn't even want the Dodgers to win.

If Hudson's pricetag is low enough, (not to mention Thome's), I don't have any reason to believe that they both won't be back.

haha, what name calling? If the part of calling you a homer is what your talking about then lock the post. My god acting like a 12 year old here and threaten to lock my post. Chris if I were to call you a name it would not be homer... I have been called worse things than a homer and you don't see me acting the way you are.

I don't really see any bad name calling, but I do love the irony of someone who started a thread entitled "Thank god the Twins season is OVER!!!" and then later in the thread responded "I hope not!" in response to a claim that the Twins will be in the playoffs next year calling another Twins fan out for not being "an actual Twins fan".

With the market being so weak at second base, I don't see hudsons price tag staying the same as it was this year. I just didn't know if the front office liked him enough to bring him back at a higher salary.
