Hopefully, Plouffe can hit well and Punto gets healed up. Blacky needs this move to get his focus back, along with his release point. Bobby Cuellar has worked magic before.

Now looking at things when will Plouffe get the chance to play in the outfield? Repko needs to spell Span from time to time, Cuddyers been at first base so I guess RF is the spot Plouffe will play. What do you guys think?

RF, and before tonight's game I guess he was taking grounders at 2B.

Plouffe should be able to handle 2B. He'll have to get used to the spin on the right side of the infield. Right now, Casilla is the only guy on the roster that can play at 2B unless someone else can handle 1B and Cuddyer can play there. Butera? Thome?

Supposedly Morales was taking grounders at 1B tonight with Cuddy prior to the game starting...it'll be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Good idea. Morales was a 2B when he signed and only moved to catcher a couple of years ago. It would not be good if Cuddy goes down right now.

Both Danny Valencia and Drew Butera have played at 1B, so they could play there in an emergency.
