    Indians Cleveland Visits Target Field

The Indians came off a very good series against the Tigers and continued their good play last night, beating the Twins 10-4. The Twins had a lot of chances to score early in the game and missed most of them. The Indians got timely hits and the Twins didn't. It appears that Scott Baker isn't right, physically. He had trouble locating his fastball properly.
Tonight, Justin Masterson goes against Kevin Slowey. Hopefully, Slowey has his good stuff tonight.

Twins need to take this series. With games against teams in the bottom 1/2 of their divisions are must wins, especially if Detroit and ChiSox are going to keep on winning.

Another disappointing loss to the Indians, although Slowey pitched a bit better. It was tough seeing Mijares give up the winning run.

Why the **** did Joe Mauer bunt with 2 on and only 1 out?

Twins win behind 7 shutout innings from Liriano, putting up 4 in the 3rd. Slama came in to pitch in the 9th and gave up a lead off hit, struck out the next 2 batters, and got a ground out to end the game.

This was a disappointing series. To only win 1 of 3 from a team who is last in the division is not good. Yeah, they were coming off a big sweep of Detroit, but the Twins need to start playing better.

Agreed, Henks. The Twins need to take at least 3 in Baltimore.
