Tough road series. I would love for us to win at least two games. I do think we should win tonight. Blanton is 1-5 I believe. Mauer and Morneau need to starting hitting the ball. Time for the two studs to carry the team!

Yeah, Blanton is 1-5 with an ERA over 7. Hopefully Mauer and Morneau both show up and hit tonight.

Good news is Hudson was activated and is in the starting lineup tonight.

Unfortunately, Blacky didn't have his best stuff tonight. The Twins dropped a game 9-5. Nick Punto supplied much of the offense with a 2-run homer and a single.

Twins were down 9-4 going into the 9th. They put a 5 spot up in the 9th, the Butera hits a pinch hit homer to take the lead in the 10th. Then Rauch comes in and gives up a pinch hit homer in the bottom of the 10th.

Then the Twins come in and score 3 in the top of the 11th. Can Rauch get a blown save, a win, AND the save????

And Rauch comes in and shuts them down in the 11th. Twins win 13-10 in 11.

Wow, sounds like the 9th inning and on was espn classic worthy almost. And epic disaster for the pens.

Slowey looked really tenative. He isn't cut out to pitch in the NL, I don't think.
Nice to see Morneau hit a homer. Butera's homer was his first in the bigs. I think he might be here to stay. He calls a good game, plays solid defense and has a good arm -- everything you want in a back-up catcher.

Pavano outpitched Halladay today, with the Twins winning the game 4-1. Pavano didn't need any relief help, fortunately. I'm not sure who was available in the pen.
Morneau and Span hit homers. Hopefully, this is an indication that Morneau's "funk" is over.

I really didn't expect this kind of performance from Pavano today. 1 run on 4 hits in 9IP is pretty damn good, especially against this team.

Nice to see our bats be successful against top tier pitching.
