J.C. does well in the sixth.

Nice job by him. This might be as good as it gets.

Nice job by JR to finish off the inning. Solid job. Still 7-4 Twins.

    Game summary after 6

    Twins 000 070 7 12 0
    M's 400 000 4 5 0

Twins hit 7 singles, drove in 5 runs, and then the two-run HR by Jacques Jones to give the Twins the lead

Johan Santana struggled in the first, but after that, he has been very good. He did a good job keeping the Twins in the game and it's good to see him get that run support. He deserves it.

Adrian Beltre had a good game.

Gil Meche pitched well, but then he stopped throwing strike in the fifth inning and the Twins started to hit him. Matt Thornton, who relieved Meche, stunk in the fifth.

Every Twin has gotten a hit tonight.

Justin Morneau's dad looks like Corey Koskie.

He was interviewing with FSN North's Clay Matvick.

Steak Santana pitched 94 pitches. I think it was a good call to take him out. One rough inning and he is line for the win. I still hate having 4 catchers on the roster. How is Mauer doing?

Cool. K-Rod is one out away from closing the Angels game so I should be watching that one soon.

mntwinsfan: I was okay with Johan leaving. I was not okay with taking Jesse Crain out though after he hit Boone. Fortunately for the Twins, J.C. pitched two good inning tonight.

Joe Mauer is doing good. He got a big hit in that seven-run fifth inning.

Bottom of the eighth for the Mariners.

I think Juan Rincon is pitching that inning. I sure hope so.

I was shocked that Ryan Franklin was not used in the fifth inning. He is a lot better than Thornton.
